NEWS RELEASE - 23 March 2005

First American Scientific Corp (FASC - OTCBB) announces sale of KDS Micronex equipment in Asia

VANCOUVER, March 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Brian Nichols, President of First American Scientific Corp. (FASC) is pleased to announce the sale of its second KDS Micronex System into the Asian market. Daeyun Enterprise Ltd. of South Korea has purchased the KDS equipment which will be used as part of their process in the production of natural calcium from oyster shells.

FASC's Chairman, C. Kantonen is quoted "On my recent visits to southeast Asia, including Japan, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Philippines and Hong Kong, I was able to forge a strong relationship with senior management at several internationally recognized companies who have shown a keen interest in representing our technology in Asia. The establishment of a second plant in the region will give a clear message that our technology is commercially viable, and serve as a springboard for our expansion into Asia. In mid April 2005, we will again be hosting a delegation of senior executives of Asian companies when we hope to make a decision to select a licensee for Japan."

First American Scientific Corp is the owner of a unique patented disintegration system, the KDS Micronex System, which is capable of reducing and drying various grades of mineral rock such as halloysite clay, zeolite, gypsum and limestone into a fine dry powder suitable for this and numerous other industrial applications. Other applications for the KDS include converting biomass and agri-waste, including animal waste, sewage, and forestry waste into a fine dry combustible fuel which can be burnt in specialized dust burners to create BTU's and energy.
