NEWS RELEASE - November 9, 2004

First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB:FASC) announces completion of construction of its zeolite processing facility in Princeton B.C.

First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB.FASC) announced today that United Zeolite Products Ltd. (UZP), a joint venture company owned equally by Zeo-Tech Enviro Corp. (CDNX:ZEO), C2C Zeolite Corporation (CDNX:CZC), First American Scientific Corp. (OTC BB: FASC) and Thelon Ventures Ltd, (CDNX:THV) have completed the installation of the KDS equipment at their zeolite processing plant located in Princeton, B.C.

On October 28, 2004, UZP commenced the preliminary trial runs to commission the KDS equipment in preparation for full time operations processing zeolite required to fulfill requirements under its $5,000,000 contract with Halliburton Group Canada. According to Dr. S. Narayan PhD. P.Eng, FASC’s Vice President “the Micronex proved quite suitable as the grinder of choice for the Princeton zeolite / Halliburton project”

In September 2004, the UZP joint venture team was joined by Thelon Ventures Ltd after they committed to provide a $ 450,000 Cdn cash investment in UZP to complete the construction of the Princeton plant. The KDS processing plant at Princeton is now complete and ready to go into production.

As previously announced, C2C and Halliburton Group Canada completed the development of a unique technically advanced system for down hole cementing in the oil and gas industry for Western Canada. Under the guidance of C2C, an agreement was reached for UZP to supply a unique form of micronized zeolite to Halliburton using raw materials supplied by ZEO and equipment supplied by FASC. Halliburton Group Canada awarded the $ 5,000,000 Cdn purchase order to UZP earlier in the year for micronized zeolite to be supplied from the Princeton operation.

FASC President, Brian Nichols commented: “We are extremely proud of our business relationship with C2C, ZEO, Halliburton and now, Thelon. Together we have made this project a reality thanks to the dedication and hard work of all the team members. We are particularly pleased that our patented KDS Micronex is an integral part of this innovative process.”

First American Scientific Corp. develops, manufacturers and sells the KDS Micronex system, a patented disintegration system capable of reducing mineral rock to a fine dry powder suitable for this and many other industrial purposes. Other “waste-to-resources” processes where the KDS Micronex can capture significant value include the drying and micronzing of biomass, agri-waste, and pulp sludges suitable for burning in specialized dust burning systems.
